The CongressCentre at Messe Erfurt can accommodate more than 1,600 people in seven conference rooms which can be partitioned to provide up to twelve rooms with natural daylight. Hall 1 (multi-purpose hall) can be incorporated for major conferences offering additional capacity for up to 5,200 participants. A covered link between the two venues is provided by the Service Centre foyer with the result that the CongressCentre and hall combination can meet the high requirements of ancillary rooms for seminars, workshops or press conferences during major events.

The Carl Zeiss Auditorium is the largest room in the CongressCentre with seating capacity for around 720. This conference hall can be partitioned as required permitting continuation of seminars in smaller working groups after a plenary meeting, for example. The gallery in the Carl Zeiss Auditorium can be accessed separately via the 1st floor. Spacious and bright foyer areas on each floor of the CongressCentre are suitable for staging smaller parallel exhibitions, administrative conference tasks or catering. The Panorama Auditorium on the 3rd floor is particularly suitable for representative events, presentations and receptions offering an incomparable view of the state capital from its rooftop terrace.

The CongressCentre is directly linked to Hall 2 via a 25-metre express path, offering further opportunities for parallel exhibitions which require more space.
