Messe Erfurt meets the quality requirements of the most important trade fair and conference organisations in Germany and is a member of the following associations:

The "Gesellschaft zur freiwilligen Kontrolle von Messe- und Ausstellungszahlen" is an organisation of the "Deutsche Messe- und Ausstellungsgesellschaften" which has declared the comparability and reliability of trade fair figures as one of its basic principles. It has set up standardised regulations for the communication of exhibitor, surface area and visitor figures as well as visitor structures and arranges inspections of adherence to these regulations by an auditor.

The "Ausstellungs- und Messe-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V." as an association of the German trade fair industry represents the interests of the trade fair industry at national and international level as regards parliament, ministeries, authorities and other organisations.

The "Fachverband Messen und Ausstellungen e.V." is a federal organisation of private and communal organisers of trade fairs and exhibitions.

The "German Convention Bureau" (GCB) is the central representative of interests and marketing organisation for Germany as a conference and event location.

The "Europäischer Verband der Veranstaltungs-Centren e. V." operates as an umbrella association for event locations (municipal halls, sports halls, multi-purpose halls and conference buildings) with members in Germany and neighbouring countries.
